Kansas Republican State Convention THIS WEEKEND! Union of Patriots is Backing Three Resolutions
Today (2/18), the Republican Party of Kansas will be meeting in Overland Park at the Sheraton Hotel to hold their Annual Convention. This is a big deal, not only because it comes just three weeks before the planned statewide presidential caucuses on March 10, but also because there will be elections for the National Committeeman and Committeewoman, as well as at least 4 resolutions that will be considered before the members of the State Committee. ... On Thursday, 1/26, the Union of Patriots released a statement in support of Governor Sam Brownback, congratulating him for ending the unfair practice of "proration" that, until October of 2011, was being used to grant state aid benefits, including food stamp aid, to families of illegal aliens while simultaneously denying benefits to legal citizen families with the same income level.
