What I learned: I'm one of Thomas Jefferson's "democratic republicans"... a non-aggression approach to maximum liberty... very liberal ideas!

I also agree with the author that Ron Paul is a 'liberal', at least in the original use of the term, calling for maximum individual liberty.
He also IS a radical, in the way that he is uncompromising regardless of the political consequences, and he is not willing to fall within the 2 big government parties... constantly a thorn in their sides.
